Do I have to wait until 1st to start?

No. You start as soon as you pay your registration fee or a deposit. This is an onboarding group. Many start on 1st or around 1st because that is when they get paid but you don’t have to wait. We highly recommend you don’t wait but to make a decision and get started without delay. Opportunities decay with delay.

A - You pay for yourself to get NCLEX (about ksh 150,000) and earn your full salary and benefits when you start working. To NCLEX costs - BON-$75 - ⁠Fingerprints ~$100 - ⁠Credential evaluation - $480 - ⁠Exam appointment- $150 - ⁠Exam - $200 Total - $955 (955x128=122,240) Add NCK fees and travel fees and it comes to about ksh 150,000. B - You let someone pay for you the ksh 150,000 and be your employer. The hospital pays the employer. Employer deducts up to ksh 19 million over 3 years (I believe the range deducted is between ksh 4 -19 million depending on company).
